Gr7 Titanium Dished Head

Product name:Gr7 Titanium dished Head Standard: ASME VIII-I, DIN28013 Material: GR1, GR2, GR7, GR12 Size: Customized Gr7 Titanium Hemispherical Head Dish-shaped head refers to the head composed of three parts: partial spherical shell, circular arc prayer side and good side (cylinder short treatment). Due to the abrupt change of radius of curvature at the junction between spherical shell and flanged edge, flanged edge and straight edge, the edge stress is much larger than the film stress caused by inner ash, and its mechanical properties are worse than that of spherical and elliptic head. Because of the shallow disc head, the requirements of stamping equipment and mold are low, so it is more convenient to manufacture. Rarely used in force vessels, only where pressure is low and a reduced head depth is required or where a die is lacking. The disc-shaped head is a continuous surface. The radius of curvature of the warp has a sudden change at the junction of three parts. As the curvature changes, there is bending stress. The result of the superposition of the bending stress and the tensile stress makes the stress in this part stand out from the other parts. Compared with the oval head, the stress distribution is not as uniform, but the machining is easier, so it is not ideal in engineering use. But when the mold processing of oval head is difficult, disc head is used instead. Size range: 50mm-10000mm with integral formed, larger sizes with subsection formed can be specified. Standard: ANSI, ASME ,MSS, API, DIN, JIS, BS,AWWA Thickness: 2mm-300mm Material: Titanium, titanium alloy Material grade:Grade 7 Application: mainly for pressure vessels and boilers in diverse industry such as oil, chemical, winery, pharmaceutical, environmental and military.
