Introduction
JIS G 3106 specifies
hot-rolled steel products with excellent weldability for welded structures. The
standard covers rolled steels used in bridges, ships, railway rolling stock,
petroleum storage tanks, containers and other welded structures. The 2024
edition is the current valid edition and replaced JIS G 3106:2022.
