Differences between Weld neck titanium flange and slip on titanium flange
1. Different welding forms: The welding form of neck flat welded titanium flange pipe and titanium flange is fillet welding, while the welding form of the neck butt welded flange and pipe is girth welding;
2. Different materials: the material of the necked flat welding flange is made of ordinary titanium plate with a thickness that meets the requirements, while the material of the necked butt welding flange is mostly machined from titanium forgings;
3. the nominal pressure is different: the nominal pressure of the necked flat welding flange is: 0.6---4.0MPa, and the nominal pressure of the necked butt welding flange is: 1--25MPa;
4. Another point is that the welding seam between the necked butt-welded flange and the connection pipe belongs to type B seam, and the welding seam between the necked flat-welded flange and the connection pipe belongs to type C seam. And the non-destructive testing after welding is different;
5. The necked flat welding flange and the necked butt welding flange cannot be replaced at will. From a manufacturing perspective, the necked flat welding flange (SO is the abbreviation of Slip On) has a large inner diameter, which means that the weight is light and the cost is low. Neck butt welding flanges (WN is the abbreviation of Welding Neck) with a nominal diameter greater than 250mm need to be tested, and SO flanges do not need to be tested, so the cost is low.

Titanium Weld Neck Flanges
Titanium weld neck flanges are not easy to deform, have good sealing, and are widely used. They are suitable for pipelines with large fluctuations in pressure or temperature or high temperature, high pressure and low temperature pipelines. The advantage is that the price is low, and the nominal pressure does not exceed 2.5MPa. It is also used for transportation on pipelines with expensive, flammable and explosive media, and the nominal pressure is around PN16MPa.
Product name:Titanium Pressure Vessel Hemispherical Tank Head
Standard: ASME VIII-I, DIN28013
Material: GR1, GR2, GR7, GR12 etc.
Size: Customized
The Hemispherical Tank Head head refers to the element used to close the end of the container to isolate the internal and external media, also known as the end cover. The head of cylinder descriptors is generally a rotating shell. According to the shape of the head surface, it can be divided into convex shape, conical shape, flat shape and combined shape. Convex head refers to the head whose outer surface is convex, such as semi spherical, elliptical, dished and non folded spherical head. Some gas cylinders adopt the combined bottom head with convex face inward, which can not only ensure the strength, but also meet the needs of use.
Matterial: titanium GR1, GR2, GR7, GR12 etc.
Type: select suitable head types according to the requirements and effectiveness of industrial equipment, such as elliptic, butterfly, cone, ball, etc
Size: generally, the height width ratio of the head is manufactured according to international standards, or can be customized according to customer requirements
Scope of application: the head is widely used in petroleum, electronics, chemical industry, medicine, textile, food, machinery, construction, nuclear power, aerospace, industry and other industries.
